HCV34DBL Dual Circuit Hammer Control Valve
OPERATION
The valve is commonly used on dual circuit excavators for actuating hydraulic hammers. The valve is installed in the main pump pressure lines of the excavator. When the solenoid isenergised, a regulated flow from each circuit is diverted to the auxiliary port, and the remainder continues to the original circuits. The auxiliary flow and pressure are adjustable on the valve up to 120 litres/min., and210 bar. Regulated flow remains virtually constant up to relief pressure setting, regardless of load variations.
FEATURES
- Compact.Steel housing.
- Individual circuit flow adjuster assemblies.
- All cartridges 100% factory tested.
- Desired settings may be locked.
- Captive flow and pressure adjusters cannot be backed out of valve.

- COIL CURRENT DRAW: 1.8 amps(12 v.d.c.), 0.9 amps (24 v.d.c.).

IMPORTANT PRECAUTIONS
When the valve is switched off, a residual pressure of approx. 7-10 bar is present at the auxiliary port, and may cause flow to continue through the auxiliary circuit in some circumstances. In this case, a10 bar check valve installed in the auxiliary line will prevent this loss. All ports are B.S.P. parallel, and appropriate fittings must be used.Tapered fittings are not acceptable. The existing circuit of the machine must be protected by a pressure limiting device on the inlet or outlet line. Pressure relief protection within the valve functions on the auxiliary port only. The drain connection must be returned directly to tank via aseparate line to prevent adverse valve performance. Failure to correctly install or set these valves may result in damage to property, personal injury or death.
NOTES
VALVES ARE NOT PRESET, AND MUST BE ADJUSTED TO SUIT EACH APPLICATION PRIOR TO USE, USING APPROPRIATE TESTING EQUIPMENT.ALL DETAILS ARE APPROXIMATE, AND SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.
